Welcome to the Southampton Allotment and Gardens Association
Hopefully this website will tell you who we are, what we do, and where to find us
EVENTS
We organise a plant sale in May which this year featured a new Scarecrow Competition. The Annual Show takes place each August and a Pumpkin Competition is held in October all of which are open to the public. Why not make a note of them in your diary, we'd love to see you there. Go to the events page to find out more and how to take part, Coach trips and talks are arranged from time to time.
Members can visit our trading sheds to buy seed potatoes onions/shallots, fertilisers, canes etc. All at discounted prices which are very competitive. Visit the trading sheds page to find out where they are and when they are open. We now have a complete and up to date price list of stocked items at our trading sheds.
We are a group of dedicated and friendly people who are keen to help other growers and gardeners to achieve their aims and also listen to their views and suggestions to improve our Association and its service to members. This is what the contacts page is for. The email address is checked daily.
You can read about where our association started by looking at the about SAGA page. This gives a brief history of SAGA.
We are linked to other websites some of which are larger organisations to which we are affiliated and have been created by like-minded people. See the links page. We have included these links because we think that they are informative and interesting.
We hope this website will prove useful and interesting to you. We welcome news and pics of your allotment plots to share with members who visit this website.
